Back To School

This week marked the first time I did my show when the kids were on campus, so I decided to select only songs whose titles were related to school or education. It all flows surprisingly well! I'm off again next week but after that I'll be back to my regular weekly schedule.

No show

Due to a glitch at the radio station, there will be no Eardrum Buzz this week! And next week I'll be unavailable as well so you'll have to get your underground rock fix somewhere else, I'm afraid. Hopefully when I get back I'll be able to share new stuff from Stan Ridgway, Cathal Coughlan, The Bodines reissue, Jon Langford and Grinderman.

Australian Garage Rock show

This weeks show covered Australian garage rock (and further choice cuts from Australian artists). My friend Monika wanted to hear some garage rock and while I like some of the 60s stuff, I much prefer garage rock mixed in with The Stooges and MC5. If I sound tired in this show it's because I've been up until 4am 3 of the past 4 nights - two in Brooklyn for the Big Takeover 30th Anniversary show and last night at the Mark Burgess (of The Chameleons) gig!

Listen to the show by request - leave me a comment.
